BD Calcium Assay Kits are designed to provide the highest level of calcium assay performance. Based on BD-patented technology, a unique signal-enhancing reagent maximizes signal over background in homogeneous, no-wash assay format with no known addition artifacts or interference to ligands. The formulation's non-fluorescent calcium indicator becomes activated inside the cell and shows increased fluorescence upon calcium binding for optimal results.

Two formulations.
Two superior performers.
The kits are available in two formulations. The first is for commonly used cell lines for which assay conditions are not affected by the addition of probenecid. The second kit has a PBX designation for cells that show sensitivity to probenecid. Both kits have been found to produce significantly higher signal over background compared to other commercially available kits.
Ideal for more difficult cell lines
The kits are ideal for more difficult cell lines and have been successfully used with a variety of cell lines including CHO, HEK293, Jurkat, Hela, and U2OS.
Kit packaging options
Both kits are available in 10-plate starter, or-100 plate screening sizes, suitable for 96, 384, and 1536 well plates. Additionally, custom packaged materials can also be provided for customers needing higher volumes.
